We offer fully guided canoe trips ranging in length from one day paddles to week long adventures. There are over 2,000 lakes and ponds in the Adirondacks, and traveling by canoe is one of the best ways to access some of the most remote spots in the park. Canoeing is a prime way to observe wildlife while you’re here. It is not uncommon to see bear, deer, beaver, otter, eagles, loons, osprey, mink, muskrat, coyotes and other critters. Canoes also allow us to bring some of the creature comforts that backpackers have to leave home.
We can tailor our trips to fit your time frame and physical abilities. Give us a call to go over details and build a trip that fits your group.
Where ever you want! We know great places for canoe trips and can suggest spots, but let us know if there’s somewhere you have in mind. All trips leave from our base in North Creek. Click for directions.
My family had a great time on the Sacandaga raft trip. The folks at Beaver Brook Outfitters are great. It’s nice to see friendly people who like their jobs and clearly are good at them.
