2020 may be a mess but at least we can go skiing! We’ve updated our ski rental process this year to make it even quicker and easier than it was before. Reserving skis saves you a bunch of time on your way to the hill. We do all the adjustments the night before your rental begins, so all you have to do is show up, try on your boots, take your gear and go! If your boot fits on the first try you can rally out for Gore — if our first pick doesn’t work and you need a bigger or smaller boot we will do a quick adjustment to fit the new boot to the ski. Either way is a quick rental process and gets you headed to the hill much faster than waiting in line to get your rentals.
Gore is doing all their ticket sales by reservation ahead of time this year and we’re going to follow their lead. We are requiring rental reservations for 2020. We’ve always recommended them for holiday weeks and for large groups, this year all our rentals will be by reservation (except seasonal). There are a few reasons we’re requiring them — reservations minimize the amount of time you have to be inside with a mask on, they let us keep our building capacity lower and reservations let us know exactly what our inventory is so we can make sure gear is disinfected in time for the next guest.

Online rental reservations are the quickest way to reserve skis. Click the book now button and follow the prompts our system gives you. It’s important that you fill out all the fields for each person in your party, they all go into making sure we adjust your gear correctly. Booking online will require payment in full, which makes your rental even faster when you pick up your gear. We get that it’s tough to plan this year so we’ve made a pretty reasonable cancellation policy — take a look here for details.
Online reservations work best for skiers who need a full package for 1, 2 or 3 days — skis, boots, poles (with optional helmet add-on). If you’ve got your own boots, skis or need a setup for 4+ days or a season it’s easier to reserve over the phone.
Tax is included on all rentals except seasonal rentals, please note that bookings done on our online system are subject to a 6% service fee, phone reservations are not.
If you have some of your own gear, need skis for more than 3 days or want to talk about rentals with a real live person give us a call. We can do reservations over the phone, we need the following info for all skiers/riders: age, height, weight, shoe size, skier/rider type. Phone reservations have the option to pay over the phone or pay on the day of. We will require a card number to hold reservations. Seasonal rentals are welcome to give us a call or email to reserve.

If you’re anything like Pete and you need to be the first person in the parking lot you can pick up your gear the night before for no extra charge. Rental gear can be picked up from 3-6 the day before you plan to ski for no extra charge–just let us know what time in the online checkout or over the phone.
