Thanks for a great season! The Sacandaga is closed for 2018. See you next spring!
The Sacandaga River provides us with family fun 7 days a week, all summer long! It’s just 10 minutes from Lake George and is easily accessible for thrill seekers that are looking to spend part of the day on the water. The “Sac” has 3.5 miles of dam released Class II-III whitewater. With a minimum age of 5, almost everyone can enjoy New York’s best 2 hour whitewater rafting trip.
The Sacandaga is an affordable adventure for families or those looking to dip their toes into whitewater (you’ll be hooked afterwards, trust us). For full day Class III-IV whitewater rafting in NY, check out our trips on the Hudson River.

Our Sacandaga base is only 10 minutes from Lake George! This new base was opened in 2014 and we love it. It’s a great location, nice facility, and easy to find. We are located in the town of Lake Luzerne. The Sacandaga River is the closest whitewater rafting to Lake George. The physical address is 598 Lake Ave, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846.
This particular company seems to be all about safety, which made me feel very secure. My husband and I are NOT spring chickens, but we both like a little adventure. This certainly fit the bill. They well-match guides to groups, so fill them in on your experience and such, and they will make it work for you. The price includes a mini-lunch and a post-rafting dinner.
