FLOAT TRIPS
Overnight floats ranging in length from 2-3 days are offered from mid-May through fall on the upper Hudson River Gorge. This stretch of river, all but inaccessible by foot, offers some of the finest fishing for Brook, Brown and Rainbow Trout in the east. There are also great opportunities for Smallmouth Bass here as well. Very low fishing pressure and healthy populations of Trout & Bass in a real wilderness setting make this a truly great trip. We make camp on some of the best and most remote big river pools in the northeast. Catch an evening hatch, try some casts through the early morning mist, or sit back and relax by the fire. Whatever your reason for getting out, there is no better place than the upper Hudson River Gorge. All camping gear (except sleeping bags), river meals, necessary equipment, and a fully licensed guide are provided.

Note: Depending on water levels, there can be a significant amount of whitewater on our upper gorge trips. This requires us to set age restrictions. In May & October Participants must be 12+ years old. In June-September it's 10+.
Bass
Floats: Pound for pound, they may be the toughest fighting fish around. We run dedicated one
day Smallmouth floats from late spring through the fall. These trips are run on
a lower section of the Hudson that is a bit warm for trout. This makes for
superb Smallmouth habitat in a great setting. We also offer guided Small
and Largemouth Bass Fishing Floats on several nearby lakes and ponds.
BACKCOUNTRY PONDS
The Adirondacks offer some of the best fishing for native and wild Brookies in the country. From ice-out (usually late April) through fall we offer hike-in trips to pristine mountain ponds to fish for Brook Trout. To soak in the sights and sounds of a wilderness pond is truly a great experience. Although fish can be caught all summer long, by far, the best months for these trips are May, June, September & October.
Note: These trips involve a hike of from 1-5 miles each way. Participants should be in good physical condition to make the day enjoyable. We will convey to the best of our ability what is involved for each particular pond.
WADING TRIPS & INSTRUCTION
From mid May through the fall we offer full & 1/2 day wading trips to area streams & rivers. Whether you want to fish a small creek for native Brook
Trout, or cast to rising browns at dusk, the Adirondacks offer more than enough choices to fit your needs. There are over a dozen streams and rivers within 30 minutes of our shop, and we know them intimately. So give us a call, let us know what type of fishing you would like, and we'll head out.
Instructional fly fishing courses are offered from May through fall. We offer 1 and 2 day courses for all abilities. Our instructional courses are booked just like our guided trips. This means that you will always have individual attention. This also means that the course is flexible enough to fit your schedule. From the person that has never held a fly rod, to the veteran that just wants some streamside tips, our courses are tailored to fit your specific needs.
FLY-IN TRIPS

We can head in for the day, the week or anything in between. All trips include your guide and necessary equipment. On overnights, meals and gear are provided in the same manner as our float trips.
