Take a ride on the mellow side with a 2.5 mile tubing trip down the Hudson River this summer. Enjoy the scenery, stay cool, relax and go with the flow! You and your tube can glide in peace and tranquility or you can splash your partners along the way! Tubing trips typically take 1.5-2 hours.
We also start our canoe and kayak trips here!

Beaver Brook is the only company running on this section of the Hudson with a private launch site. All other companies bus to and from the river in large groups. Beaver Brook lets you run your trip at your own pace without having to wait for other groups. This applies to canoe and kayak trips as well!
Our canoe, kayak & tubing center is where you head for some easy river fun.
Address: There is no address to be honest. We lease land right on the river in Thurman, NY
Get off exit 23 at Warrensburg and then head north on Rt. 9. You know you are going the right way if you immediately go past a McDonald’s. Go to the third light past the McDonald’s and take a left (There is a pretty good sized health center on the corner). This is Rt. 418. Go 3 1/2 miles on Rt. 418 and you will cross a bridge over the Hudson. We are on the left immediately after this bridge. You will see our sign. Go down the drive and you are there!
My family had a great time on the Sacandaga raft trip. The folks at Beaver Brook Outfitters are great. It’s nice to see friendly people who like their jobs and clearly are good at them.
