Join us for guided flatwater trips on 13th Lake, a pristine Adirondack lake. 13th Lake is part of the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area, which means it’s designated wilderness. It’s not out of the ordinary to see loons, great blue herons, bald eagles and beaver dams. All trips are with a guide who can provide paddling instruction if needed and help you find the best spots to enjoy on the lake. Trips are roughly 3 hours, with 2 hours on the water and 1 hour for check in, transportation to and from the lake and safety instruction. Kids as young as 3 are welcome on this trip. This is a great adventure for first-timers and experienced paddlers alike!

This particular company seems to be all about safety, which made me feel very secure. My husband and I are NOT spring chickens, but we both like a little adventure. This certainly fit the bill. They well-match guides to groups, so fill them in on your experience and such, and they will make it work for you. The price includes a mini-lunch and a post-rafting dinner.
